Sports version of the car built in 1922 by OM (Officine Meccaniche) in Brescia and which remained in production until 1934. The technical features were similar to those of its predecessor, the 465, but rapid technical progress had allowed a significant increase in engine power, improving performance and reliability. The 469 excelled in com- petition, both in the racing category, normally bodied with two bucket seats on a bare chassis, and in the ‘touring’ category. Its name, 469, is due to the number of cylinders in the engine for the first digit, while the other two indicate the bore size.
